Ensure your contractor has WCB Coverage & also get 3 references

Roof cleaning is not the most difficult trade to get into. As a result there a plethora of companies that say they are roof cleaners. 

What happens is an unsuspecting homeowner says okay to their cheap prices, and ends up having to redo it 1 year later.  We highly recommend if your going to higher a used Victoria chuck with a truck you at least inspect his work after he is done. Get up on the roof and see if there is any moss left. Do not pay him until the job is done. Also ensure that you call 3 references. This little question alone will probably turn into the man stalling and ditching the job as they don't even have 3 references. 

In addition this person does not have any WCB coverage nor a safety plan, and is therefore a liability to you on the job site. Protect yourself ask them for their WCB #. It is not difficult to get.
